Common Law Reasoning

Mr Kevin will be replaced by Mr Baljeet for a few weeks because he is busy. After this class, I finally knew that common law reasoning could be interesting too. However, it needs to fulfilled some pre-requisites. Firstly, the lecturer must be a good story teller. Secondly, lecturer seldom refers to the notes. Thirdly, lecturer must be a funny guy. Then, the lecturer who acquires the three points above is able to juice up a boring subject like common law reasoning.

Sometimes he may stray away from the topic but i still enjoy his teaching. However, he told us a lot of stories happened in Malaysia. Damn good !!! I starts to enjoy the class.

Toy Stories 3 T.T

Today I didn't have to attend the contract law class because the class had been cancelled. I spent my whole morning at home and watched a great movie——"Toy Stories 3".

Andy was already 17 years old and he was not interested in toys anymore. He wanted to bring Woody with him and to leave the other toys at the garret. He packed the others into a plastic bag. Accidentally, his mother thought they were trash and threw them into the dustbin. After an escape, Andy's mother brought them to a child care centre. At the beginning they felt good at the centre but everything was not as good as they thought. With the help of Woody, they had a prison break......At the end of the movie, Andy sent them to a little girl's house whom the little girl could appreciate them. It is a touching movie and I couldn't stop my tears at the last past of the movie. However, I don't think that this movie is suitable for children .

You can watch it through pps. Just have to type "玩具总动员3" and you can enjoy it for an hour and a half !!!

Recently I had found a very nice song named "天使的翅膀". I prefer this girl to the original singer.

Public Law =/

Ms Diana was sick today but she still came for the class. However, she didn't lecture after she came into the class. She gave us essay questions and we needed to finish two questions in 3 hours!!! Actually it was fine because we will only have 45 minutes for each question. My hand was paining after wrote the essay.

Moral Studies was sucks. Puan Adura taught about religion and it was boring. Fortunately she gave us group work and we quickly escaped from the classroom after finished the group work.

The People vs Larry Flynt

Larry Flynt, a boss of a porn magazine "Hustler". He wanted to sell the magazine publicly but met with problems because of the norm of the society. He faced with a lot of trial and sure, he lost. He and his lawyer were shot outside the court and he became half paralyzed. He appealed his case to the Supreme Court( highest court) and finally he won.

This is a good movie and they try to talk about freedom of speech. I think the Supreme Court's decision is right. It is really hard for us to accept these kind of magazines.If we don't like these magazines, just don't read them but we can't force the others who want to read them not to read.

够力！闯祸了！

我的第一大缺点到现在还没改掉。。。昨天晚上给她shot到够力够力，炸到全身伤，目前自我痊愈中。说起来是我不对啦，加上她心情不好，dai sei 咯。她发起脾气来还真是可怕，这也好，人要适时发泄一下的，不然迟早生病。

Haiz...KTM

Today I had a very "wonderful" experience with KTM. The train delayed again and when I finally got into the train, it was already 8.30am.The speed of the train was so slow and the air was warm. Suddenly the train stopped before Putra station for half an hour without any reason. The passengers started to pushed each other when the air became warmer and warmer. A Bangladesh who slept at his seat comfortably was awaken by an Indian who sat beside him. Why? The Bangladesh slept like a "dead fish" and he used the Indian's shoulder as a pillow. Furthermore, he had a wonderful snore that was so annoying. The Indian tried to wake him up softly but it didn't work. Many of us felt like to laugh because it looked so funny that the Indian desperately wanted to get rid of him. Finally the Indian pushed him with a little bit harsh and he woke up. It seemed like a fight was going to break out in front of me but it had been stopped by the other passengers. It took me 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach KL Central station and I felt exhausted. What a "wonderful" experience !!!

Good Movie Bad KTM

I had watched "Knight And Day" at 11.30am in KLCC's TGV. My college had booked the entire hall for all students and we could get free tickets from the college. Something good happened when I was waiting at the Kepong KTM station. A girl who is studying A-level at the same college asked me to bring her to KLCC. Quite weird right? Because of my kindness(sure not because of her beauty), I brought her to KLCC safely.

"Knight And Day" is a nice movie by Tom Cruise and Cameroon Diaz. Tom Cruise was a FBI agent who was carrying a duty on protecting a genius who successfully created a powerful battery. However, there was another FBI agent that tried to sell the battery to a Spanish weapon dealer. The head of FBI mistrusted the agent and Tom Cruise accidentally met with Cameroon Diaz who was a normal but funny girl. The hall was full of laugh when we were watching the movie. Worth to watch!!!

I reached KL Central at almost 2.00pm after having my lunch. KTM met with technical difficulties again and the crowd and I had to go to the intercity platform to wait for the train and went back to the original place again. I had spent one and a half hour waiting for the train like a mad man. I saw a girl who is also studying A-level in the college waiting at the platform. She is indeed a beautiful girl but she is so cool. She gave me a feel like an iceberg that hard to break and I could see cruelness through her face. I hope I am wrong. By the way, she is soooo pretty!!!

A Time To Kill (1996)

Today I would like to recommend a law movie named " a time to kill". A ten-year-old girl who was an America-born African, was raped by two white men who were racists. They not only raped her, but also urinated at her and etc. The girl couldn't have any children anymore because of the things happened to her. The girl's father killed the two men on the way when they were brought to court because the two men might be acquitted. Matthew McConaughey as a defense lawyer who was facing financial problem decided to help the girl's father. His family, colleagues met threat from Klu Klux Klan. The racist burnt his house , attacked his colleague's husband, kidnapped Sandra Bullock( his partner). They did try to shoot him when he came out from the court and to bomb his house. Finally he won the case by telling a very touching story to the jury during closing statement.

It is a nice movie but it is quite hard to find because it is not available in pps. Furthermore, the downloading speed was terrible and I spent weeks to download it.

Malaysian Studies

I have started to enjoy Malaysian Studies class. Why? This is the only subject that I can sleep during the class. I can shut down my entire brain for 3 hours and have a very nice nap, good right? I may wake up during the break but my brain still remain as "sleep mode". Mr Ramesh's teaching way is more interesting and he is open-minded. By the way, I hope I can pass Malaysian Studies and Moral Studies so I will not face them anymore.

家有一老，如有一宝

“家有一老，如有一宝”这句话大家应该耳熟能详。当年我真的相信，如今想一想，我很傻很天真。就像法律里面所讲，general rule背后一定会有exceptions。我真的很想尊敬这位大家长，可是她不给脸，不给我应得的尊重，那就对不起咯。

其实这位大家长蛮聪明的，只是太自以为是，不听别人的劝告，当小的没道（粤语）。回想起来，她第一天来我家时就发威了，说了一句经典名言“我吃盐多过你吃米”，应该是这句话的关系，我超讨厌不听劝告的老人家。

每个人都有父母，废话。如果有人语言上侮辱你的父母的话，你会怎样？如果侮辱你父母的人是大家长，你会怎样？骂她？没有礼貌。打她？天打雷劈。最后，自己生闷气，死了好几百万个细胞。如果她的侮辱是有事实根据的，我可能会独自伤心，伤心自己的父母没用。如果没有呢？我该怎么做？

大家长认为，自己是最聪明的，小辈永远也比不上自己。她真的忘了，或许选择性忘了，小辈会不断地成长，不断地变强，把长辈远远地抛在后头。而长辈，只有苟延残喘，越跑越慢，眼睁睁地看着小辈成为一个点，慢慢在视线中消失，然后自己带着遗憾和不解躺进了棺材。有智慧的长辈，会很开心自己的后辈比自己强，躺进棺材时，脸上还会挂着一丝笑容。

还有，大家长很喜欢吵架，但是她不会吵架，无关紧要的事情，有时尊敬她，放水，不和她吵，给她笑一下无所谓。重要课题时不能放水，加上我来真的，理论上她输得很惨，情况就像下棋时给人满门抄斩。输了不甘愿，玩人身攻击，说我不孝顺啦，天打雷劈啦，说什么全部人都会觉得我错啦。。。拜托，我有理，你无理，加上我的脑还没生锈，当然是我赢，此“理”非彼“礼”，讲不过我就玩人身攻击！？

你不是整天说小姑很好的吗？？赚很多钱的吗？孩子们成绩都很好的吗？So What!!! 你有没有注意到小姑开始不想看到你？开始用很烂的理由不来载你去她家半天，明知道父母要做工，哥哥做工而我要读书，也不想来载你？最够力的是她向你收伙食费，还让你吃了等于没有吃！！！你不是说刚刚吃过晚饭吗？为什么你又偷偷拿饭吃呢？今天小姑载你回来时，你有看到小姑的嘴脸吗？我第一次看到这种嘴脸，她的眼神，她的笑，令我不寒而栗，哪里有人用这种眼神和笑容来看着自己的母亲的！！她明天又放飞机了，我告诉她没人在家，她只说：“她自己会照顾自己的啦。”你知道爸爸听到这句话后有多么生气吗？这就是你口中的好女儿，连她放的屁你也说是香的。明天你将是一个人在家，你死掉的话，我全家可能很大罪的你知道吗？？？

道德上不说了，谁都知道。法律上，用英文比较好讲。I know nothing about Malaysian Law but I think the principles are quite similar if compared with English Law. Briefly speaking, my family and my aunt's family have taken care of you for a very long period. Furthermore, you can't take care of yourself and sure you are relying on us. Thus, we own duty arising through assumption of responsibility .Now, my aunt's family will go for a trip and they can't take care of you for these few days. Legally, they need to find someone who can take care of you and they do. They have passed the ball to my family. So, if anything happens to you, they will not have any criminal liability but my family will. Luckily my father has found someone to take care of you temporarily .

我只是一个很烂的法律系学生，我不想长篇大论，写多错多，只是很straight forward地说明一些东西，你千万不要死啊！！！律师费很贵的啊！！！祝你明天好运。

双食记

早上用pps看了“双食记”，内容是说一个男人一脚踏两船，家里有老婆竟然还去找情妇的故事。正室为了报复，布局和情妇成为好友，教她煮菜，利用食物相生相克的道理，把老公弄得不像人样。很可怕啊！！！！虽然不是鬼戏，对我来说属于恐怖片，导演把这部戏拍得很好。简单来说，老公先天变态，老婆可怜+后天变态，情妇单纯。这部电影也告诉了我，吃东西要小心，吃了虾后千万不要吃维他命C，不然死了也不知道什么事（会产生砒霜，有医学根据的）。好可怕！！！

Sad law movie

Recently I had watched "Murder of The First" and "The Rainmaker". These are sad law movie because the victim died at the end of the movie. Besides that, the lawyers represented the victims in both movies were not experienced lawyers. However,they tried their best to achieve justice.

"Murder of The First", a true story.The victim in the movie was sent to the Alcatraz Prison because he stole 5 dolars in order to feed his sister. However, he tried to escape from the prison and he failed because one of his mates betrayed him. Then, they treated him differently by using solitary confinement to keep him in a dark room and never talk to anyone for almost 3 years. At the first day he was freed from solitary confinement (meant he became a normal prisoner), he stabbed the betrayer with a spoon( in reality he stabbed the betrayer with knife) and the betrayer died, he was charged with murder in the first degree. An inexperienced public attorney represented the victim in the trial. Finally he won the case and the victim was convicted of manslaughter but he lost his girlfriend who also a public attorney. The victim committed suicide in the jail. This case had given a great impact to the society and solitary confinement had been abolished due to inhumanity. Good movie, I watched it through pps, the chinese name for this movie is "一级谋杀" .

"The rainmaker",Matt Damon was a lawyer who just passed his test and got the license, absolutely inexperienced lawyer. He in loved with his client who was a victim of home abuse. He killed the husband to protect his girl friend but his girl friend wanted to protect him and became the scapegoat. Luckily she was found not guilty because of self-defense. This is not the main plot of this movie. Matt Damon represented a Leukemia patient to sue an insurance company " Great Benefits" because the company refused to compensate him. As a lawyer, his performance was terrible due to lack of experience. He was smart but he needed to experience more. Luckily his assistant sought for his former employer's help and finally he won. However, they got nothing because the insurance company declared bankrupt after the case. This movie was quite boring but the last 30 minutes was quite interesting. The chinese name for this movie is "造雨人".

Lucky and "Lucky"

I was so lucky when I was going to college this afternoon. Why? I got the train at 1.08pm and that was the last train. The KTM worker told me that if I had missed that train, I had to wait for 2hours for the next train. Was I lucky??

During the criminal law class, Ms Puvan had lectured about some notion relevant with the criminal law assignment and my answer was right!!! So, there was no need for me to correct my criminal law assignment, huh...felt relaxed.

After class, I walked to KTM station happily. However, the KTM workers informed me that they were fixing the electric wires then and it took hours. Then I tried to get a monorail to Hang Tuah station but......there was problem occurred with the monorail and the service was canceled. Two important public transport in KL met problems at the same day, have you met it before??? Desperately, I called my father to fetch me......The weather was so cool T.T, was I "lucky" ???

KTM again

Today I arrived at Kepong KTM station at 7.50am. There were trains service at 7.53am and 8.08am but both of them were already full when arriving at Kepong station. It supposed to have another train at 8.22am and I felt happy because I would not be late for contract law class. Mr Kumar would punish anyone who is late for the class to sing a song. Suddenly, the KTM board made an announcement that the train would be delayed till 9.00am. WTH !!!! My class would start at 9.00am!!! I called me dad immediately to bring me to college after I got my money back. I reached the college at 9.20am and Mr Kumar had already started his lecture. Fortunately, he didn't punish me for my lateness. One of my classmates who was a KTM's consumer stepped into classroom at 10pm and looked weary. "KTM!?"I spoke loudly when he came in. "Yes!! KTM!!!"he replied. He continued saying that he had walked along the track from Seputeh till KL Central !!! What a precious experience, right??

I had a good class today because I had represented my group to explain fact of the case to the whole class. My performance was not satisfactory because I found myself hard to do presentation by using English.Sometimes I could not remember a simple word...... By the way, at least I had tried.

After class, I was informed by the KTM worker that the KTM services was not available and had to call my parents to fetch me.

*Drove to Jusco just now and bought sport shoes. XD

I arrived at Kepong KTM at 7.35am. The station was crowded with people, shocking. The train reached the station about 7.40am with empty coaches. The KTM workers wanted all of us to get into the train or there would not be another train for very long time. I reached KL Central at 8.30am because the train stopped for minutes at every station.

Today we felt sleepy because today was the first day after sem break. Ms Diana was late because of traffic jam. One of my classmates came late at 9.40pm because of the KTM.She told us that she had arrived at KTM station at 7.45am and she had missed the train. When did the another train arrive? 9.30am!!! Ms Diana only did some revisions for us and the class was sucks because of the irritating student.

Moral studies was boring >.< Luckily I passed my mid-term exam.

I finally escaped from the hell at 4.00pm after my group had finished the essay. However, the KTM worker told me that there was accident at "Seremban-Rawang" railway and all the services were canceled. Wat the fish!!! Fortunately my father was purchasing some goods at Chow Kit and I telephoned him to fetch me after given back the refund.

Movie again!!

I had watched "Primal Fear" this morning. Martin, casting by Richard Gere( He is so handsome!!!), a former strict prosecutor, became the defence lawyer of Alan. Alan killed the Bishop cruelly and was charged with murder of first degree.The sentence for this will be death penalty. Martin believed his client was innocent because Alan knew nothing. He believed there was third party involved in this case. Alan said sometime he might "lost time" and Martin doubted that Alan had amnesia. Martin found a psychologist to talk with Alan in order to know more about his girl friend. One time during a conversation between the psychologist and Alan, psychologist discovered that Alan had dual personality. Sometimes, Alan was not Alan, but Roy. Roy killed the Bishop. Martin used tricks to show the dual personality of Alan. Finally Alan was acquitted because of insanity and had to be sent to mental hospital for treatment. Martin won the case and the prosecutor, his lover, lost her job and got injured because of Alan. When Martin visited Alan to tell him about the verdict, Alan said that he was so sorry for the prosecutor's injury. When I watched the movie till this part, I felt something wrong. Alan didn't know what had happened when "Roy" took over his mind...... So did Martin, then Alan laughed at him and told him there was no "Alan" in this world but only "Roy". "Roy" successfully cheated his lawyer and psychologist, I got shocked when I watched till this. What a dangerous person!!!*shivering*

Feel interested in this movie? Type "一级恐惧" in pps. Honest say, this movie had spoilt my good mood . What can I describe this movie? Smart lawyer, less smart prosecutor, Bishop who was wearing a mask, and the most important, super duper "innocent" look but dangerous defendant.He was an evil.

Go and watch!!! Still shivering......

Law Movie

I had watched "Philadelphia Review" at yesterday night and "JFK" at today morning. Both are great movies but they are supposed to be categorized as "old movies". Both of them are talking about law and had given great impacts to the societies. Not only law, but also humanity, I think.

"Philadelphia Review" by Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington. In this movie, Tom Hanks was a young, great lawyer , good guy and homosexual. He had AIDS. He was sacked after his colleagues knew about his illness. He was set up by his colleagues who were lawyers. Denzel Washington, a great lawyer who was prejudice to homosexual, represented Tom Hanks to sue his former employers.

"JFK" is talking about John Fitzgerald Kennedy's assassination. Jim Garrison who was casting by Kevin Costner , doubted there was a conspiracy in JFK's death. He read the whole Warren Commissioner's report and found a lot of mistake in the report. As a head of DA(District Attorney) of New Orleans, he investigated the whole case and discovered that so many parties were involved in the assassination. Witnesses were killed , rumours, menace......He brought Clay Shaw to the courts and tried to prove he was one of the accomplices of the whole assassination and Lee Oswald was only a scapegoat. However, he failed. I terribly love his closing statement, it was so touching . Jim Garrison couldn't stop his tear when he was doing his closing statement. This is a real story.

p/s: "JFK" is a 3.5 hr movie, exhausting.

一则故事

昨晚和她聊了一下，一会儿后关机睡觉。失眠了，许多事物涌现在我脑海中，赶紧写下来。这是一篇有关小男孩的故事，有点无聊。

地点：xx华小

一位小男孩刚刚上小学，一年级下半年做了副班长。那时候的小男孩很帅，游泳塑造了相当健康的身材。当时小孩子喜欢诬赖xxx喜欢xxx，小男孩很自然的成为了班上许多女生的“老公”，值得小男孩庆幸的是，“老婆”们都是班上的美女，没有猪扒。小男孩升上二年级时，班上转来了一位小女孩，长得很美，成绩又是全班第一名，无端端又成为了小男孩的“老婆”，下半年时，小女孩转校了，听说搬到很远很远的地方，不会再见面了。

地点：一间独中

小男孩成为了“大”男孩，不运动，暴饮暴食，让“大”男孩继续向横发展。初二的时候，班上一位女生吸引了“大男孩”的眼睛，女生很安静，乖乖女，不是美女，却很有气质。过没多久，男孩发现自己只是欣赏女生的气质。

地点：政府砸钱，长达几个月的活动

在一个非常无聊的班上，一个非常无聊的组别，一堆非常无聊的活动，小男孩被逼和她谈天。一谈之下，谈了几天。小男孩很喜欢zat她，很喜欢看见她哭笑不得的样子，可是小男孩从来不敢对她好，不敢正眼看她。小男孩从小经历的事情告诉他，没有经济基础下建立的一切都是不可能达成的幻想，到时候只会让双方痛苦和伤心。小男孩把一切事情埋藏在心里，很难受。当她和别人在一起时，小男孩哭了，哭自己没用，不敢去追求自己喜欢的人。对她，男孩做了许多以前从来不敢做的事，男孩也发现，原来自己是很紧张她的。因为她，男孩不知不觉地改变了自己，不再强求嘴巴上的胜利，只求双方争吵后的心情愉快。


不知道怎么继续，就此停笔。历时3小时，够烂。
